12" Accordion Tag Box Baby Records

So finally here it is, my 12" by 12" Accordion Tag Box, made for my Baby girl.

TECHNIQUES LEARNED

• Learn to make from scratch an interactive project complete with tags , pockets and Shadow box frames.
• Learn to create the Accordion Tag Box in a large size.

• Learn to create the shadow box and the decoration elements.
• I walk you through the entire process of creating the project step-by-step start to finish. 
• You will learn to create the Box, the pockets, the tags and adding the pattern paper and then assembling the entire project and finally to embellish your  finished project.

Altered decoupaged Birdhouse using Bob n Betty Roseate

The Roseate collection is so amazing the color combinations and the prints and all the elements are just gorgeous. 

I wanted to do something very fun and shabby chic with it so I chose to alter a birdhouse. This is what it looked like before I altered it.

I didn't opt to paint over it as the papers are very nice and thick and don't need any surface preparation. I did clean it thoroughly with wet cloth and dried it. I also got rid of the base in the front it was sort of not working out with the look I wanted. 

I cut the papers down to size to fit the walls and the roof and decoupage them using mod podge. I also used some distress ink in walnut stain to add a finishing to the edges. 

There are so many events for fussy cutting so I didn't need a lot of extra elements. I fussy cut the flowers and leaves and made arrangements. Adding them using silicone glue in order to create some dimension.

This project has been 2 years in the making. A lot of planning, hard work and research has gone into this. It is very close to my heart and Its absolutely new and unique.

You have seen shaker cards, you have seen shaker frames, and you have also seen shaker tags, But for the first time ever I give to you the shaker Binding System!! I have developed and created a unique Binding system which incorporates the technique of shakers. This is a whole new concept and looks absolutely fabulous!!

This project also incorporates flexible Spines, In a gate-fold format.

Altered Metal Trunk DIY decoupage using Bob n Betty Decoupage sheets

I found this trunk in my local market and the minute I saw i I knew what i wanted to do with it!

I wanted to do a collage decoupage on this using different collections and create an eclectic mish-mash look. Very very Boho-Chic

So I wanted to create a collage look for the truck because i wanted full coverage of the papers that was not very neat but still cohesive. therefore i used 3 different collections and I picked out papers that were  complimenting each other from the collections.
