Alice in Wonderland Mini album with Kathy Orta's hidden hinge binding

Namaste

My niece is turning 6 and the theme for her birthday party this year is "Alice in wonderland". So, in keeping with the theme i decided to make a little mini album for her. I went online to look for free images and i looked and looked but i couldn't find any thing i liked untill I came upon this blog on Pinterest .

She had designed an entire mini album you could print out and that too for free. everything was already done and designed. So i all i had to do was print it out and assemble it and make the covers add charms and such.
So, here it is the wonderful little mini . Isn't it just adorable!!

I have recorded the making of the entire album from start to finish so you guys and watch me build this wonderful little album.

Masculine Travel Journal

Namaste!!

I am back to show you a travel journal I made with a masculine theme . I used a notebook with black pages that was already spiral bound and took it apart and used that as the base of the journal. It has a ton of pages and tags to add photos and to journal in. I used some pattern paper and cut up an atlas to add maps. I ma pretty happy the way it turned out.

SUPPLIES
  •  Note book with black card-stock pages ( you can cut your own)
  •  Spiral ring for binding
  • Pattern paper
  • Atlas
  • Distressing ink
  • Various assorted charms and embellishments
  • Adhesive
  • Vintage ephemera
The video is pretty self explanatory of what I did and how i did it. For any queries please feel free to put in the comment and I will try to resolve them.

Paper Bag Tutorial

Namaste

Paper bags are everywhere and very popular with crafters but most of all they are also essential for occasions like parties as goodies bags and off course for lunch and the options are countless.

My niece is turning 6 and the theme she and her mother have chosen is Alice in Wonderland. So, i made these Paper bags as return gifts for her little friends. I haven't embellished them yet as i will close them shut after they are stuffed with goodies and candies and little mini albums i made for each kid.

SUPPLIES

1> Scoring board
2> Bone Folder
3> Score tape
4> Scissors
5> Paper of your choice and dimension.

That is all the supplies you will need and the instructions are really simple to follow and you can make variations in sizes easily according to your need.
I used this really beautiful golden gift wrapping paper and i will use ribbons and tags to embellish them later i made 20 of these in one sitting in front of the TV!! Mine are a little large but you can adjust the dimensions to suit your project make them as small as you want and as big as you like.
You can use this for your mini albums and coordinate with pattern paper and cardstock , really super simple and quick.
