Hello hello Halloween

Most scary day that I have seen!!

By far the large junk journal I have created a 6" BY 12".

Using the Steampunk Botanica collection by Recollections.

This was done 3 years ago but never got to post it. So finally today is the perfect day to share this beauty I just love how this turned out.

It has a lot of different style pages and moving gears and clock hands. Tons of fussy cutting on the pattern paper itself for tick spots. And envelopes, pockets and tuck spots and flip out pages.

It has 7 signatures with envelopes and fold out pages and cardstock in different colours.

Books Within Book Chapter-II With Shaker Binding Video Tutorial

So the wait is finally over!

This project has been 2 years in the making. A lot of planning, hard work and research has gone into this. It is very close to my heart and Its absolutely new and unique.

Please do remember you saw this here first and do give credit where its due, its a humble request.

Without further ado I present to you all the Books Within Book Chapter II.

It has all new pages and all different techniques

An interactive Scrapbook Album with a different element on each page.

You have seen shaker cards, you have seen shaker frames, and you have also seen shaker tags, But for the first time ever I give to you the shaker Binding System!! I have developed and created a unique Binding system which incorporates the technique of shakers. This is a whole new concept and looks absolutely fabulous!!

This project also incorporates flexible Spines, In a gate-fold format.

Shabby chic Decoupage clocks

This is my first try at decoupage I mean for real. I have done a little bit here and there in my art journal but never a complete project with so many techniques.
I have used the #decopatch papers from Bob n betty and stencils from Craft treat to create some unique projects. They are very practical and useful and don't cost a bomb to create and perfect for reselling.

1. I took some mdf clock bases and used a clean old makeup sponge and painted with white gesso. I have them 3 coats.
2. Then I fussy cut the paper to my liking and requirement and sprayed the pieces with water.
3. I used mod podge to adhere the paper to my bases.
4. I used some stencils and modelling paste to create the desired patterns.
5. After the modelling paste was dry I sanded it down with some fine grain sand paper.
6. Next using some chalk paint and sponge I coloured over the areas without the paper.
7. Then I used inka gold and rubbed with my finger and buffed using a wet wipe. To get the distressed effect. 

8. I used flat back pearls to add additional details. 

9. I simply used  chalk paint to paint 2 coats on the back of the clock. 

10. I added the clock mechanism and voila.

11. I also painted the whole thing with a coat of varnish.

Made With Itsy Bitsy GDT Post

Itsy Bitsy is one of the oldest  craft store in India and recently they have come up with handmade flowers! I was really very excited when I was approached by them to do a GDT post!!

These flowers are delicious!! just loved the colours and the textures!

I have created 2 projects and used the Itsy bitsy flowers to embellish them and My I am in love!!

Shabby Chic Shadow Box Card

I created this shabby Chic shadow box card for a client who wanted to gift it to someone who recently had a new baby!!

I used the pattern papers from Blue Fern Studios. Frolic Collection!

Tradewinds Masculine Mini Album

Namaste guys

I used the Tradewinds collection from DCWV, and created a Masculine theme style mini Album.

Its 6" by 6" and has 6 pages 12 pages front and back and each page is also a pocket that holds a tag.

I love creating frames for the cover and added lots of flowers to compliment the blue I used yellow ones, its a different approach but I thought it looks amazing.

I love adding charms to the spines of my albums, so here too I added a charm dangler with a variety of charms.

The album has a lot of flaps and interactive elements.
