Namaste
My love for Prima and Prima products is no secret, they have always inspired me to push my boundaries and do more , create more widen my horizons and think and create in ways that I didn't know existed! The Products truly inspire and I have allowed myself to go down the path of inspiration and create projects that are true to the integrity of the products used and I have designed everything around them.
You can find the post here
So, here are my submissions I have created each and everyone of these especially for this DT Audition from scratch
Project-I
Card/ Tag/ Layout
I used the Bedtime Stories Collection and created an Accordion Tag Box for a little baby girl. It has 12 Tags and each is adorned with a heart shaped tab and finished off with a pearl.
The Accordion tag box is a creation of mine that I has gained a lot of popularity
Project -II
Home Decor/ DIY
Using the Prima Loom and an assortment of embroidery floss I crated this wall tapestry in a rainbow colour scheme.
I used the running weave just at the bottom and top and the sides of the tapestry rest of it majorly consists of RYA knots that i have done in VIBGYOUR sequence to create a Rainbow Effect!! Finished off the knots with a Wooden Tapestry Rod.
Project - III
Home Decor/ DIY
This project for me was a labour of love! Inspired by vintage Library card cabinets I created this Chest of Drawers. It is a home Decor piece which doubles up as a photo-book holder as well as drawers for storing knick-knacks, gift-cards, polaroids and such. The project contains 2 Mini albums which are the larger drawers and the 4 drawers. I used the Vintage Emporium Paper Collection to create this project.
It has tons of pure brass knobs and handles as well as lots of brads and filigree. I made the Metal chain tassels to add more inrest to the corner protectors.
Project -IV
Planner/ Journals
I Used the Gorgeous Collection French Riviera and created a travel journal from scratch I designed the pages in typical journal signature style. My journal has 10 signatures that have been created using Cardstock, pattern paper and parchment paper. I also used the Ephemera and the ATC's to add interest to the numerous pockets and envelopes of this journal.
The idea was to create a Scrapbook and Journal hybrid that has places for photos and lots of room for writing as well as tons of tuck spaces for tickets , memorabilia and pretty much anything one wants to save from their trip bill, maps, etc

I created a wooden fence look by cutting strips of the Pattern paper and adding them to chipboard and then individually glueing each piece like pieces of wood. Used lots of clasps to create a corset on the spine
I created a Tunnel card in the shape of a porthole to adorn the cover of my journal and adhered tiny fussy cut piece to each of the layer to create a 3D effect!

Altered Book Art with Mixed Media start to Finish Video
For my final project I wanted to combine two arenas the video making and Mixed/ Altered Project. I have a book and altered it to create a Room box depicting a miniature scene from Alice in Wonderland. I have used the collection Tales of you and me.
I have a collcetion of Alice in Wonderland Books , it may be a bit of an obsession for me. I have drawn my inspiration for this scene from the the following two pages of the book
Using the book as walls I created a chipboard base for the book and added some wallpaper from the pattern paper. The tiles were created with the pattern paper too.
The glass table was created using Epoxy Resin and silicon moulds, I assembled everything together to create the 3 legged table. The glass top is actually resin set in a round resin frame. I sis it in 2 parts to achieve this effect first I casted the outer frame and when that was set, added more resin inside the frame and filled it up to look like glass and painted the whole thing. The little cake is made using paper clay and a resin rose for the top . The little tags I printed off my computer and distressed.
I have shot the video of the entire process, so here it is
I hope you all enjoyed my creations.
If you did do leave me some love and leave a comment.
